Communication between home and school is essential in helping children succeed. Parents are encouraged to actively participate in their child's learning journey at home and at school. Below are some committees you can be part of:
- School Site Council
- School Leader Council
- English Learner Advisory
Parents can also attend:
- workshops
- "Coffee with the Principal"
Parent Volunteers - Purpose
- enrich the school experience
- assist with school events
- promote partnerships
- work in the Parent Center
- serve as positive role models
Parent Volunteers - Requirements
- TB clearance – valid for 4 years
- Megan’s Law Check
- 16 hours or more per week need to be fingerprinted – valid for 2 years
- volunteers must reapply every year
